Diy pin board for nursery- upcycling old picture frame

I had this picture frame laying around since ages. Its basically and old thrift store painting that wasn’t worth saving. I did paint over the frame and the backboard a while ago to make a base for a new painting but that never happened.
I wanted to create a display where I can switch things around from time to time , the little one is growing up so quickly that there is always a new lovely painting or favorite little photo from him I wanna stare at 😉

So here is what I did :

I used some yarn that I wrapped around some pins and put a tiny bit of super glue on the tip so once they are in place they will hopefully stay there. I just zig zagged them over the board until I was happy with the result.

And then decorate 🙂 I pinned my things up with either wooden clothes pins or paper clips.

I love how the frame gives such a beautiful contrast to my boys blue nursery walls

Maybe I make a bigger one next time. Its such a quick diy and so easy to switch things out now and then and keep it fresh !
