DIY with fabric scraps .part 2 clip-bib

I wrote the other day about using scraps of fabric to create something new and fun!
For all the fabric hoarders like me out there it’s nice to get rid of little rest pieces you just can’t throw away, because, well, who throws fabric away? You crazy?

You’ve got a baby ,or one in the family? Maybe need a Xmas present for a new mom?
Dig through your rest fabrics and we will see what we can do…

I call it – the clipatybib 🙂

How genius is that 😛
Any mom know that you have to carry always way to much stuff with you around so I thought it might be good to combine 2 of those things.
Pacifier clip + bib!!!! You never knew you needed it until now, am I right ?

I added a bit of little extras so it looks fancy enough just to wear it out all day!
I’m addicted to kam snaps, they are so colorful and fun! ( another thing I’m hoarding!) I love to pep up items with using these like my Pram muffs
for example

First I drew roughly a pattern. Its fairly easy actually.I just took a bib that fits my boy and extended it.

I have a lot of cutesy cotton fabrics for kiddos laying at home and I never really use any of them so this was great opportunity to combine some as I love me some pattern mixing.

I cut the shape out twice and sew right sides together ,then turned them inside out and top stitched.

Added some cute snaps and done! Well, I put on a bow tie as we’ll cause I think boys can’t have enough of those!

( note – please be smarter then me and don’t add star shaped buttons onto babies neck as they can hurt them)
